HP 902 / 902XL / HP 952 / 952XL firmware issues

- IMPORTANT! FIRMWARE UPDATE - HP 902/XL & 952/XL Ink Cartridges

HP released another round of firmware updates on November 5th, 2019, which may affect the following cartridge series:  HP 902XL (so far ONLY SOME BLACK are affected) HP 952XL (so far ONLY SOME YELLOW are affected) As of today (November 6th, 2019), this is the list of confirmed printer models that are affected by the recent updates:

The best way to continue using re-manufactured ink cartridges without hassle is to disable automatic firmware updates on their printing devices (by default, it is enabled!)
