Historically, Samsung used the following to identify regions:

DOM – Korea
EXP   - USA
EUR  -  EUR

With increasing sales of Samsung products plus greater penetration into other markets, they have switched to the following:

DOM – Korea/USA [might include South America]
EUR  -  EUR
EXP -    ROTW

We are also finding that machines from other regions are being imported into a different region.

So, a machine in Colombia may in fact be a European machine and the only way to tell is by cartridge number.

To help understand and resolve this, you will note that product descriptions will show the exact cartridge number SUFFIX for that product:

/SEE – AUSTRALIA/PACIFIC

/XAA – NORTH AND SOUTH AMERICA

/ELS – EUROPE

/XIP – INDIA ONLY

/XIL = CHINA ONLY

So, with a request for a chip, it is critical that the suffix is provided for a good match.  This suffix is on the OEM cartridge itself.
