Remove all cartridges from the printer.
Shut down the printer after cartridges are removed.
Unplug the printer's power cord and USB cord.
Wait 10 minutes before plugging anything back in.
After the step above, plug the printer back in and start it up.
Install the cartridges back into the printer.
Reboot the printer once more (unplugging is not required).
